TENCEL™ fibers are a type of cellulose fiber derived from sustainably sourced wood pulp. The FSC certified wood used to produce TENCEL™ fibers is sourced sustainably through a closed-loop process, where 99% of the waste and water used in the production process is recycled and reused.

One of the key features of TENCEL™ fibers is their biodegradability and compostability, which means that they can be broken down by natural processes and returned to the earth without causing harm to the environment.

Currently, LOTTA LUDWIGSON incorporates TENCEL™ as a component of a merino wool and TENCEL™ blend solely in our turtleneck. This enables the garment to combine the advantageous characteristics of both fabrics, such as softness, warmth, comfort, breathability, and temperature regulation.
