Cotton is one of the most widely used natural fibers. It is mainly grown in warm, tropical and subtropical regions. While it is known for its breathability, absorbency and popularity, it is also one of the thirstiest crops that requires a lot of water.

We use cotton for the lining of the inside pocket of our trousers, for the sewing thread in general and for the various labels such as the main label, the care label and the size label.

Using a cotton sewing thread instead of polyester (as it is usually done) ensures biodegradability, but also adds a lot of complexity to the production process as it is more time consuming and difficult to sew with a cotton thread than with a polyester one. Also when sourcing labels, it is not only more difficult to find 100% cotton labels, but also multiple times more expensive.
